Darren Haydar
Founder & Program Director
Darren Haydar is a 14-year NHL veteran and celebrated AHL player, named Player of the Decade by *The Hockey News* in 2010. A 2019 inductee into the Milton Sports Hall of Fame and 2024 inductee into the Ontario Junior Hockey League Hall of Fame, Darren holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. After retiring from professional hockey, he became a certified real estate agent and now works as a Sales Representative at Revel Real Estate Centre. In 2009, he founded the 20/20 Elite Training Program, rooted in the belief that athletic excellence is built on confidence—both physical and mental. Today, he serves as Head Coach for the U13 AAA Halton Hurricanes and supports a number of teams and players within the community.

David McDuffe
Co-Founder
David McDuffe competed at the elite level in both hockey and baseball, playing Junior A hockey and NCAA Division I baseball, where he was named an Academic All-American and All-Rookie Team selection. He’s represented Canada in national and international competitions including the Canada Games and All-Star World Games. Since 2017, David has been an influential coach with Milton Minor Hockey and now leads the U11 Halton Hurricanes. Known for his balanced, firm-but-fair approach, he’s passionate about mentoring the next generation. He also assists with the U8 Milton Winterhawks and has coached the AAA Milton Mets Baseball Club.
